Friendship day.

Hey everybody,

As friendship day approaches, I find a need to say this.
Recently, my class has been segregating 2 girls because of their character.

Sadly, I'm guilty of doing it too... I know it is only natural to have the tendancy to be hostile towards people who can't really fit in.

I have been praying for myself to be able to love them more and accept them for who they are. It is not impossible.

Turns out they are special in their own way.

This friendship day, start loving people you never did, start loving people you hated and show them the kind of love that Jesus has given us~

Prayer

Hey guys, I was on my way to work this morning and I was just praying to God for MKC and for you, just then, I said a prayer that was a chorus of a song. That experience was new and refreshing for me, I think you guys should try it too, ask God for anointing and just start to pray, slowly you can see God working in your life. :)

You can pray this prayer with me as I did this morning:

Dear God

I pray for the youths and MKC leaders that they will run to the altar

and catch the fire that is in your heart to stand in the gap between the living and the dead,

Lord, give us a heart of compassion for a world without vision and we will make a difference,

bringing hope to our land,

in Jesus' name I pray, Amen!!

I'm sure you would know what song is this. :) Remember to pray everyday and soon you will see yourself changing because of God. :)

JOY comes by putting Jesus first, Others second, and Yourself last.

I'm a bit nervous and yet excited about tomorrow's event! I just want to thank you guys for making an effort and being part and parcel of the activities tomorrow! :)

I believe God will send in the children and I'm really praying for a miracle. I still can't shake the feeling that I remember once, we were so disappointed but you know what? God knows how much we can handle and how prepared we are.

It's not about the games, it's not the carnival but more importantly we are using this opportunity to glorify Him, bring honour to His name and adding more kids into God's kingdom. I'm really very nervous.

Please do pray along with me. Prepare your hearts even right now to receive the children and even wanting to share God's love with them. May we be the instruments that God will use to reach into the hearts and the homes of these kids, whatever race, whatever religion, whatever their attitudes may be like or how broken their homes may be, God still love these kids as much as they love you and me.

My prayer is that every child will grow up loving God and serving God with all their hearts, minds and strength. Whatever obstacles they may face in life, they will always know that there is a God there who loves them and cares for them. Watch this video....

A man and his donkey(no offense, ike :p) leave town on Friday, travel for 48 hours, and arrive on Friday. How is this possible?

2. Place 1 white marble in one bowl, and place the rest of the marbles in the other bowl lorr....

3. First, you take the chicken across the river. The fox doesn't want the grain, so it should be safe.Then, you go back across the river yourself. Take the fox. Now take the chicken back with you to the original side.Take the grain over to hang out with the fox. Go back to the side with the chicken. Take the chicken to the right side, and you're done!

A riddle

Hey guys, here is a riddle for all of you


One day a lorry was going to cross a bridge to deliver goods to their clients .But the bridge can only withstand 100kg only .So before the lorry went through the bridge they weighted it and the lorry weights exactly 100kg even 1g more the bridge will collapse .So when the lorry was crossing the bridge , a dead bird dropped onto the lorry.Why didn't the bridge collapse ?

Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to share with you all a little something regarding this year.

As I was praying this week, I sense in my heart that this year is going to be an EXCITING year and at the same time a 'hard' year. Well, why do I say that?

You know that when we do the things of the Lord, the devil will come and attack us in all sorts of ways. Of course, we have the protection from the Lord but at the same time, I would like to remind everyone of you to be watchful and prayful. Be alert at all times, as in spiritually.

We have to keep the unity in the youth zone and also always upholding one another in prayer. Put on the full armour of God and stand firm on the Book of Life so that we will not stray away and we can use the shield of faith to extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one. Just like it says in Eph 6:16.

Anyway, this is a new year and let's keep out our faith, unity and love for one another. Let's be the alert and prayful at all times and do our best to run the race with perserverance that God has set for us, TOGETHER!

WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!! :)

Instructions to JJB's house

Hi Youth,

We will be meeting at Eunos MRT station at 12.10pm tomorrow before going to JJB's house. See you guys there!

One more thing... We're going to have a time of sharing and thanksgiving as well... so, please prepare yourself with something you would like to thank God for in 2008 and what you're looking forward to in 2009. You will have three minutes each to share. After that, we'll have some time for prayer, and then i'll share the strategic vision for the ThirDayYouth 2009.
